Can someone help me configure a Cisco 2600 offlist please? I have too little experience with these things.
Configure to do what?? It's pretty broad request, and Cisco IOS is
quite complex...
Sorry I can't help you more, but this may be a good time to find a
local person you can hire to get it configured the way you need. Once it's configured, it's pretty much set unless you change your network.
I think if you're familiar with general networking concepts and comfortable with CLIs then you can configure a Cisco, at least on a relatively basic level, without much in the way of help.
I've configured 72xx series routers with multiple interfaces in the past just from reading how-tos like these:
http://www.joshgentry.com/cisco/cisco.htm http://www.akadia.com/services/cisco_router_firewall.html
Obviously this wasn't for widescale production use, just for internal routing/testing so his milage may vary depending on what he needs to configure.
Will.
