>Can you tell me where i can find the script?

I did it about 6 months ago, but I cant find the perl script on their site anymore. However, if you download the driver source for 2.4 kernels there are makefiles in there.

That should work, just double-check filepaths. Poking around the makefile doesnt hurt either. In fact, if you run into spinlock problems(which I did when compiling drivers for CentOS 3), there are settings which will need to be changed(check 3ware website for symptoms and solutions, Ive always found the answer I need there).

>But the question is work that with centos?

Im in a farm with a few dozen servers running CentOS and compiled-from-source 3ware drivers on 9500 cards. Theyve worked for months, altho this is not the brand new RC1 CentOS 4.

>And on this site http://www.3ware.com/KB/article.aspx?id=12706 stay that
>the drivers will not work with centos.
>But i donīt understand WHY. Redhat and Centos has the same architecture or
>not?

The knowledgebase article you mentions says there are no drivers available for CentOS. That is correct to the extent you CAN'T download the drivers you need and just drop them in, like other OS's. What you CAN do is download the 2.4 source and compile your own.

As for the website linked in that knowledgebase article, Ive never tried their driver.

Don't forget to upgrade firmware! Some of the early versions could do hideous things. 256k block sizes now supported! w00t!
