Now you have my curiosity aroused. Was this with CentOS3 or 4, ie LVM or LVM2? What problems?

We use LVM on all our RH9 setups at work. No problems at all.

OTOH, LVM2 is a work in progress that RH chose to pass along. I keep hearing rumors that the support may be more complete in Update 1 whenever that comes along.

(resize2fs is missing ... should be there in update 1)
