Then, for crying out loud... :) this discussion should have been started with a different subject line: "Looking for a new tcp wrappers maintainer".
That is much more constructive than calling the bulldozer early.
Even more to the point, why is this a fedora/RHEL or even linux specific issue? I'd expect to matter to OpenBSD. Do they maintain their copy?
