Some people don't want to uncheck everything. They'd rather just hit the "Server" button and go from there. This ISO does that. I find it very convenient.

I have a CentOS 4.2 CD that I downloaded shortly after release. I've never used anything but disk #1, and I've had no problems. I simply select "customize packages" and uncheck all of them.
It's very fast, and then I use yum to install whatever else I need.
