It seems that CentOS currently has HPLIP v 3.10.9 and you will need to install a later version as it needs v 3.11.1 or later. see hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/models/laserjet/hp_laserjet_professional_m1213nf_mfp.html

             This will be very helpful to me if anyone can inform me the technique to operate this printer in centOS 6.2.
