I have the new apt available from:
http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/These are tagged as test-packages, so you cannot get them automatically (yet). I have received very good feedback and i'm waiting for Panu to
make
a new release before I can replace the old ones.
I also patched synaptic to understand the repomd support that apt now
has.
So if you're using the new synaptic, you only require the new (currently test) apt to start using it.
Let me know if you have problems.

Needed some perl modules like TimeDate wich I could'nt install with MCPAN so your repo fixed my dependicies with pop-before-smtp and other code.
Really appreciate the work you put in your repo and I've been using it for years now with great content, A real thanks for that Dag!
