Well, I would if I knew what the heck I was doing - how do I adjust what? Or where do I look to find out how xorg.conf should be organized and adjusted, etc.
Well, on the nvidia site where you grabbed the driver software, they have a README file which is quite thorough.....

Not knowing this before, I foolishly failed to check the lsmod before I left the house, so I won't know until later.
