Setup could not determine Redhat Linux release.
Websense does not support the operating system on
this machine. There may be difficulties installing and running
Websense on this operating system. Consult the Deployment Guide
for the supported operating systems. :
NOTE: I changed my Old Linux RED HAT 9 for my new Platform . the old installation worked very well but now I have problems for work.
I'll appreciate your Help.
Their installation system probably parses /etc/redhat-release for version information. If this is the case you can solve this by putting the following line at the top of /etc/redhat-release Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant Update 3)
Do this and try the installer again. (Note. Don't erase any of the current contents of the file, and remember that backups are your friend.)
