NFS locking is _hell_ on mbox files. Maildir helps, but it's still _not_ recommended for e-mail storage.
Is NFS recomended for anything (except temporary mounts) these days ? What options we have besides SMB/CIFS (no comments) and AFS (high overhead) ?
