To All,
Thanks to the CentOS guys for 5.4; sure appreciate your work.
+1
I have one question. I had to remove perl-5.8.8-18.el5_3.1.i386 on two x86_64 machines in order to get perl.x86_64 4:5.8.8-27.el5 to update.
I had this on my laptop also, removed the .i386 package and the update completed without complaint.
Does this represent a change from 5.3 to 5.4 and should I be concerned about the loss of perl-5.8.8-18.el5_3.1.i386. So far I have not found anything broken.
I don't remember why the .i386 package was installed here, but have noticed nothing broken since removing it and updating.
