Looking to setup a mirror but had a few questions..

Just a couple of questions before I get started today... Space recommendations? How much space should I allocate? What to grab? Should I grab the entire tree from all the way to version 2 etc... ? Traffic Usage? When I make this a public mirror how much traffic should I expect for this host? I want to make sure I allocate correctly to avoid going over and getting charged. Thanks all for the info!

Problems with max clients being reached

I have been trying to sync our mirror from msync.centos.org and consistently receive max connections errors. Since this seems to be the case for days on end, my mirror never gets a chance to sync. Is there a way to find out when there are times of low connections so I can choose a time that will allow me to connect? I know that if someone tells me a particular time, a whole bunch of other mirror admins will probably jump on that same time, which would be pointless. So, it would be nice to be able to see a graph with the number of connections over time to make an informed decision when this happens. How long does centos repository keep its old rpm's?

General question here for a total newbie here, but how far back does the centos repository keep its RPM's? For example, if a new version of cups-devel comes out, what happens to the previous version of the cups-devel RPM? Does it remain in the repository? Does it get overwritten? What if we have to revert back to the older version of the RPM? Thank you.... J

Standford mirror not syncing?

Greetings, I have been using the Standford mirror for rsyncing CentOS 4.5 i386 updates as well as CentOS 5.0 i386 and x86_64 updates... but I haven't seen the most recent updates announced on Oct 6th show up yet... so I'm guessing the Standford mirror isn't syncing for some reason. Please allow access for our site (http://mirror.anl.gov) to sync from msync-dvd.centos.org.
