Our company just moved to new dedicated servers and we had extra bandwidth
we wanted to put to good use.
The mirror address is :
ftp://mirrors.portafixe.com/centoshttp://mirrors.portafixe.com/centos
We have centos 4 & 5 all architectures. Version 5 is sync, we are
currently rsyncing version 4 so it should be all there by the end of the
day.
We can offer maximum 1TB of bandwidth per month.
The files are on 2 load balanced servers with persistent IP connection for
FTP and HTTP to avoid synchronization problems. Speed of network is
2x100mbs.
We rsync every 6h
Here is the sponsor details :

Title : Refurbished laptops, ultraportable and tablet PC at unbeatable
prices. We ship across Canada and US!

My mirror downloaded 4.7 from centosr2 only to have it deleted upon the
next sync (which was centosh). Has it been removed again or was I just
unlucky landing on a mirror which hadn't synced yet?
Thanks,
Mike

When trying to sync form us-msync.centos.org today, twice we have gotten
errors about the max connections being reached. Are there peak times
for the master servers that we might be able to avoid when pulling our
updates? Better yet, is there a graph or any other automatically
updated means whereby we can check the connection count's or bandwidth
usage of the main servers so that any admins running a CentOS mirror can
look at and figure out for ourselves when to best mirror the repos?
I'm getting the following error when I try to get updates.
@ERROR: max connections (40) reached -- try again later

We have been mirroring CentOS for a while now, but would like to include
the DVD isos. We have plenty of connectivity and space. Can someone
please let me know what we need to do in order to get these DVD images
as well?
Thanks,
Patrick
