Our mirror for Centos and a bunch of other stuff is on line and appears to be working correctly. mirror server moved mirrors.hns.net.in

Hi, We have moved the mirror server to a new hardware and thus newer ip's, please update the following: http://mirrors.hns.net.in => 111.91.91.0/27 OLD IP= 120.88.47.10 and if possible access to DVD rsync access. regards Ripunjay Bararia

4.8 moving to the Mirrors

All, The 4.8 directory is moving to the mirrors. It currently has 770 permissions to prevent people from seeing it in our apache directories. Once we have a hundred or so updated machines outside the centos infrastructure (in a day or so) then we will shift the permission to 775 and start building mirrorlists and isolists. I expect to announce the 4.8 release on Friday August 21, 2009 in the afternoon. Thanks, Johnny Hughes

Missing Files on Mirror: 206.51.236.66??

For the past week or so, when my server rsyncs from 206.51.236.66 it deletes the following files: deleting 5.2/os/x86_64/RPM-GPG-KEY-beta deleting 5.2/os/x86_64/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-5 deleting 5.2/os/x86_64/ deleting 5.2/os/i386/RPM-GPG-KEY-beta deleting 5.2/os/i386/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-5 deleting 5.2/os/i386/ deleting 5.2/os/ But every other server puts them back. Not sure how many of you guys have used fedora's mirror manager, but centos should do something like this. Its really a nice little app, that helps in mirroring.

ACL for DVD ISO images

Dear mirror administrator, Our server `ftp.jaist.ac.jp' is providing DVD ISO images and listed as a server supporting DVD downloads on the mirror list. But it does not have the right to access the module: rsync://msync-dvd.centos.org/CentOS-incdvd Could you add ftp.jaist.ac.jp (150.65.7.130) to the ACL? Current mirror size

What is everyones mirror size right now? A du -sh of my /centos directory shows 126GB Yet when I run rsync I see this sent 48 bytes received 3.16M bytes 371.95K bytes/sec total size is 140.49G speedup is 44436.24 This is my rsync command. rsync -vaHh --numeric-ids --delete --delete-after --delay-updates --progress rsync://linux.mirrors.es.net/centos/ /home/mirror/public_html/centos Anyone have any ideas?
