It appears from my side of the internet that "208.90.224.30" hasn't been
responding reliably:
us-msync.centos.org: 208.90.224.30 - Fri Apr 15 12:05:06 EDT 2011
rsync: failed to connect to 208.90.224.30: Connection timed out (110)
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(107)
[receiver=2.6.8]
us-msync.centos.org: 208.90.224.30 - Mon Apr 18 12:05:04 EDT 2011
rsync: failed to connect to 208.90.224.30: Connection timed out (110)
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(107)

Not sure if there is something wrong with centosi5, but looks like my system synced with it and lost all the updates it had just downloaded earlier.
Snippet from a yum update against my mirror after the update:
Not using downloaded repomd.xml because it is older than what we have:
Current : Thu Apr 14 13:13:40 2011
Downloaded: Wed Apr 6 17:10:24 2011
Thanks.

I have some questions about creating a public mirror. I was synced with
msync.centos.org but no centos 5.6 there. How can i get it? Should i sync
from another mirror from my area?

Hi folks,
Due to an electrical maintenance operation, mirrors.ircam.fr will be
down in a couple of hours starting 4:00pm, UTC. Expected downtime is
about an hour.
Cheers,
