Hi,
Just set up a new UK mirror for CentOS.
Currently it only supports HTTP but I'm working on getting FTP and RSYNC too.
Mirror details;
URL: http://mirror.rmg.io/centos/
Location: London, UK
No bandwidth cap, sync-ing 4 times a day
Provider is 'RMG Web Media Ltd.' and site link is http://rmg.io/. The contact address is mirror(a)rmg.io (Or this address).

Hello,
We have created a public mirror and are now mirroring CentOS 5 and 6.
URL: http://mirror.aptus.co.tz/
CentOS URL: http://mirror.aptus.co.tz/pub/centos/
Thanks.

I have excluded obsolete releases, but I am willing to bring back the
entire 5.x series if you insist upon it.
Syncing 4 times a day. We have lots of bandwidth, but we would prefer
to ramp it up slowly. We are open to the public, but we would prefer to
serve mainly Hawaii and the U.S. West region if that would be possible
sometime in the future.
mirror.ancl.hawaii.edu is hosted by the Advanced Network Computing Lab
at the University of Hawaii, with hardware donated by Netgear and other
companies. I am the contact person to administrate the mirror
configuration.
Question
========
Have you folks implemented a GeoIP based MirrorManager similar to Fedora
Infrastructure? We would like it very much, as we can supply all ASN's
and IP subnets of Hawaii networks so all those machines can
automatically use the nearest mirror.

Karabir suggested we start getting together a list of steps that need
completion to deliver an IPv6-preferenced or IPv6-only list of mirrors
for IPv6-only clients using CentOS. Here's what I've got so far. Feel
free to add to it:
Steps are in order of priority:
- Establish at least two authoritative name servers for centos.org with
v6 IPs.
- Determine if centos.org registrar supports v6 glue, transfer to a
registrar that supports it if needed, then add the glue.
- Augment the current mirror database with a field for IPv6 support and
IPv4 support, filling in IPv4 as enabled for all existing mirrors.
- Build a list of centos mirrors which have AAAA records and/or consult
with mirror admins to identify the mirrors which are prepared to provide
preferred IPv6 connectivity to IPv6 clients.
- Prepare a separate monitoring system for IPv6 content to confirm that
mirrors are serving the content correctly over both v4 and v6.
- Modify the mirror list on mirrorlist.centos.org to provide IPv6
mirrors with a higher priority than IPv4 mirrors when the client
accesses it via its AAAA address rather than A.
- Add AAAA for mirrorlist.centos.org
Thoughts?

Hello,
We are sync'ing from msync-dvd.centos.org::CentOS-incdvd/ yet we are
missing the "minimal" ISOs which seem to be present on other mirrors.
Please advise.
The mirror will be offline during Monday 8 of August, the (old P4)
mirror server is being replaced by a new one.
The new server is already synced with the old one, so no big peak of
download on eu-mysnc to be expected
Cheers,
Gaël STEPHAN
Hello all,
due to an air conditionnig outage, the italian mirrors at
cis.uniroma2.it and at ftp.uniroma2.it have to be switched off
for the next few days.
My apologies, Silio d'Angelo.
Hello all,
Sorry for the off-topic question.
Is there any rpmfusion mirror in Vietnam?
rpmfusion[1] is a repository of add-on packages for Fedora, Redhat and
its derivatives like CentOS or Scientific Linux.
In other words, rpm-based distro users need them.

msync.CentOS.org rsync service (centosg5)
---------------------------------------
This service is intended for the sole use of the CentOS worldwide mirror network
to synchronize mirrors.
Unless you are running or intending to run a listed public CentOS mirror
use a mirror listed at http://www.CentOS.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=13
If you intend to populate a mirror for public use please read the
notes at :- http://www.CentOS.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=15
If you do use this service then it is implied that you are providing a
mirror for public use and giving us authority to publicise such mirror.

Should I not be using --delete in my sync for cases like this ?

Hi,
I'm sending this again now that our mirror has been stable for a few
weeks after having some initial problems with CentOS 6.
I would like to get my mirror added to the list.
HTTP: http://mirrors.loosefoot.com/centos/
FTP: ftp://mirrors.loosefoot.com/centos/
RSYNC: rsync://mirrors.loosefoot.com/centos/
Location: Colorado, US
Speed: 1Gbps (AS40092)
Sponsoring Org: LFC Hosting (http://www.lfchosting.com)
Contact Person: Jeff Fisher (jeff(a)lfchosting.com)
The mirror is sync'd 4 times daily against msync.centos.org and is a
complete copy with nothing excluded.
Also, can someone remove the other Tier 1 mirror located in Colorado
(OpenReaction) as it appears that they are out of business and the
mirror has been down for quite some time.
After reading,
http://www.centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=30, I thought
this list is auto-generated based on http://mirror-status.centos.org/;
however, the mirror I referenced before has not been up for 317 days.
Thanks,
Jeff
Hello,
I noticed that our mirror isn't listed on mirrorlist.centos.org for Cent
6.0. Go ahead and toss mirror.metrocast.net into the mix. We have the
dvd isos up as well.
Thanks,
Ben

At least centosh5 but I suspect that others as well miss the liveDVD.iso:

Same happens for the i386 tree.

Hello
Please remove ftp.nb.lug.ro from the list of active mirrors. Due to
a hardware failure and the sponsor not willing to fix it, we are unable
to keep it in function
