Hi! As hinted about a year ago ftp.sunet.se is shutting down, and now it is time remove us from any mirror list. I'm not familiar with the centos "infra structure system", will it take effect as soon as the list is updated or will existing users suffer unless I put a redirect in apache? Thanks! // Emil

CentOS EPEL

Hi, We mirrored the Fedora EPEL located at http://mirror.rise.ph/fedora-epel/. Upon updating using yum the epel is redirected to ftp.yzu.edu.tw. Below is the output. Loaded plugins: fastestmirror Setting up Update Process Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile epel/metalink | 2.9 kB 00:00 * base: mirror.rise.ph * epel: ftp.yzu.edu.tw * extras: mirror.rise.ph * updates: mirror.rise.ph I tried editing the baseurl in /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo but the epel doesn't show during the update. msync.centos.org issues from Australia

Greetings, I was just wondering if there is something funny going on with msync.centos.org's availability within Australia. I see it is geo-load balanced to various places around the world, but in particular in Australia we are (in many cases) sent to 103.18.205.7 - 7-205-18-103.static.glovine.com.au That's all well and good, but a quick look at http://mirror-status.centos.org/ reveals quite a few of the Australian mirrors have been all over the place over the last few weeks, which would somewhat suggest something is up with this mirror source?
