centos-vault mirror?

Dear All, I asked it already, as I never got anyone's reply, so I'll ask it again. Which URL should I use to mirror centos vault? I don't mind if my mirror of centos vault is public. I maintain public mirror of centos itself. The machine has enough capacity to serve as a mirror of other repositories and projects. I find it advantageous to have local mirror of source RPMs (I regretted these were removed from main CentOS site in the past). I was mirroring centos vault from mirror.kernel.org, but they stopped mirroring centos-vault shortly before CentOS 7 release. So: How can I mirror CentOS vault? Thanks. Nginx?

I was just wondering, has anyone ever done any work with serving their mirror through nginx? I did some very brief research and it seems the only way to get the header to display is if you custom compile it yourself with the fancyindex module? This unfortunately doesn't come in the repo package. - Mike

Hi, I am asking you if you could remove gd.tuwien.ac.at from the mirror lists as they are doing traffic shaping to ~60kb/second and every austrian centos user needs to exclude this mirror if you do updates or install centos! there are several other mirrors in Austria working perfect! Oliver

Mirror removal

Hello All, I hope this is the right place to send this query. We are currently hosting a centos mirror (mirror.freedomvoice.com) and I need to decommission the server providing this service. I want to get in contact with the right folks before taking this server down to avoid causing anyone any problems. We may be in a position to host this server again very soon, but for now I really need to shut this box off. Could someone point me in the right direction to do this the "right" way? Hi guys Just need a bit of advice or pointing in the right direction - I want to add rsync access to my mirror, but I'm not sure if what I've got for the configuration files is correct. The path to my mirror directory is as you see it below; that's the root of it. Sometimes we get some Japanese mirrors in the list (and those are really fast), but sometimes there is not even a single one. For information China usually has very bad bandwidth to other countries (the case for many Asian countries actually), as such Chinese mirrors are not suitable for hosts located in Japan (and the other way around). Anyway I'm not sure how mirrorlist.centos.org works, but anyway I hope this issue can be solved one way or another. Thanks, Mark
