Updates for mirror.nsc.liu.se

Hello! We have replaced our aging server "mirror.nsc.liu.se" with a newer machine. It now has 10 Gbit/s network connection (up from 2×1 Gbit/s), and has also gotten new IP addresses: 130.236.101.93 2001:6b0:17:2::1:93 It appears that we can already sync using IPv6 (are you perhaps opening up for entire /64:s or something?), but the IPv4 address needs to be updated in your ACLs. It would be nice if the old address (2001:6b0:17:2::1:92 and 130.236.101.92) could be allowed to sync for another week or two, just in case some problem shows up. Since we can sync using IPv6, the repositories on it should be up to date, and I have already updated DNS so the mirror.nsc.liu.se name points to the new server. Real hostname is drteeth.oss.ou.edu but may show as mirror.oss.ou.edu or reflection.oss.ou.edu. No Time status on status page

Hello, I am trying to troubleshoot the issue with our mirror. We noticed that on https://mirror-status.centos.org we have a "no time" status. I've checked and our script is syncing properly. As of this email, TIME and timestamp.txt are both reporting May 20, 2021 17:44 ( https://mirror.nodespace.net/centos/) What would be causing this? I couldn't really find any useful information searching the mailing list. Thanks! Travis

The issue is that http://mirror.nodespace.net/centos/TIME redirects to https://mirror.nodespace.net/centos/TIME The mirror crawler checks http and https URLs separately, and the "no time" is an indication that the mirror crawler was unable to retrieve the TIME from your mirror over http. You would need to disable the forced redirects to https to fix this issue. Note that https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreatePublicMirrors has this notice: "If you set up HTTPS, please do not redirect HTTP requests to HTTPS. There may be organizations that allow outbound HTTP connections but not HTTPS connections, and any redirects may cause problems for them." Other projects may have different opinions of this, but this is how it is in CentOS.

Hello. I totally forgot to tell you that the IP address has been updated because we shipped the server to the USA.
