Process to create a mirror and add in public list

Hello There, We want to create a centos mirror, Any one please help me in this. New Mirror

HI, we have proceed with two new centos mirror in our datacenter into two differents location. we have also add a new domain name (centos.tn) resolving the two new servers : mirror1.centos.tn 193.95.66.3 and mirror2.centos.tn 193.95.67.3 these servers are didecated (physical, not VM) : - 8 cpu -16 G RAM -300 G disk (raid 5) 1Gb/s internet speed. How much bandwidth is need for an mirror? Is 5TB enough? Hello, We decided to change our rsync url. Old is: rsync://mirror.linux.lg.ua/nixmirror/centos || mirror.linux.lg.ua::nixmirror/centos New is: rsync://mirror.linux.lg.ua/centos || mirror.linux.lg.ua::centos Old url will remain available until changing the mirror database. Regards, Anton

Rsync Errors

Hi folks I’ve been seeing a lot of Rsync errors lately: @ERROR: max connections (40) reached -- try again later rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1503) [receiver=3.0.6] Is there plans to increase the max connections or is the solution rather to get more mirror sites offering rsync? We offer rsync here if other mirrors want to use it for example – might take some load off the primary?
