DVD access

Hi, to all the people who want to have DVD access: We have added several machines to our msync network and we are planning to open up DVD access - but we're not going to do that *right now* while everybody is downloading 5.5. Once the rush is over we're going to address this issue, because we still need to shift a few machines around to allow that. Sorry, but that is where it stands right now. So everything will become fine in the end, but the end is not necessarily right now :) Ralph

We have been running this mirror for awhile, but I never sent this email asking to become "official." Question: how do I get DVD isos? We had been mirroring from .anl.gov and had them. Now we're mirroring from centos.org and the DVD isos are gone. We seem to have the CD isos. mirror problems?

Just did a fresh install of 5.5 using net-install did a yum update right as I got in, and got all of these. Happened on every server I hit, not just ubiquityservers.com, Any ideas on whats happening? http://mirror.ubiquityservers.com/centos/5.5/updates/i386/RPMS/nss_db-2.2-3…: [Errno -1] Package does not match intended download

Nvidia Sound Controller Issue with 5.5

Wow after about a week of issues.... and tons of speculation I finally found this bugfix to solve Nvidia's sound driver issues. http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=4335 I would like to stress that this problem has cost me tons of downtime since after each crash from this bug fsck would run! The patch seems to be working provided form the bug url.
