Update mirrors.melbourne.co.uk to access DVD rsync mirror

Hi guys, We'd like to carry the CentOS DVD images on our mirror, and will therefore require access to msync-dvd.centos.org to achieve this. We allow rsync access to our mirrors, and I believe this would be quite beneficial to facilitate the distribution of DVD images to other mirrors. Could someone please allow the IP address 92.63.142.155 access to the correct rsync module? Please let me know when this is done, and I will update our scripts. New Mirror Request

Hi, We would like to host a mirror for CentOS. Earlier, we used to have our own CentOS repository for all the 5, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 versions, so that we could do a local yum. We used to run the following daily at 2200hrs UTC: rsync -v -aH --progress --bwlimit=3072 rsync://mirrors.kernel.org/centos/data/web/centos Now, after going through the Public Mirror How-To, we ran the following: rsync -v -aH --progress --delete --bwlimit=3072 msync.centos.org::CentOS /data/web/centos And, we found that it deleted all files we had for 5, 5.2 and 5.3. So, we did another rsync with "mirrors.kernel.org", and then did another rsync with "msync.centos.org" but this time without the "--delete" flag. So, now we also have all the ISOs available at "mirrors.kernel.org". Is it ok to run the rsync without the "--delete" flag? Our mirrors can be reached at: http://mirrors.ispros.com.bd/centos We are located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Cron job runs twice a day at 0900 and 2100hrs UTC. Our uplink for this mirror will be dynamically allocated between 5 - 50 Mbps, depending on our network load. Is that acceptable? Is it also possible to have our name as one of the possible resolutions against yum updates? We apologize beforehand if some of the questions above sound a bit too naive. This is the first time we are hosting officially for CentOS. Why doesn't our mirror appear on this page, even when I connect to it from the same subnet/domain as our mirror is on? http://isoredirect.centos.org/centos/5/isos/x86_64/ I get this for dvd images: --- The following mirrors should have dvd .iso images available for download: Nearby Countries - http://ftp.uni-bayreuth.de/linux/CentOS/5.4/isos/x86_64/ --- And a suggestion for these mirrors with cd iso's: --- The following mirrors should have the cd .iso images available: Actual Country - http://ftp.uninett.no/pub/Linux/centos/5.4/isos/x86_64/ http://mirror.ii.uib.no/sites/msync.centos.org/centos/5.4/isos/x86_64/ --- Our mirror is centos.uib.no and it has all the dvd images, and is tagged correctly on this webpage: http://www.centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=31 The mirror in Germany pops up as the only nearby mirror with the dvd images, which is not correct, as both we and ftp.uninett.no has the dvd images.
