Centos K seems to be missing some i686 xfs and drbd kmods that are for
some reason in the x86_64 tree. If I happen to get it CentOS K from the
msync pool, the files are deleted; when I move to another mirror, they
come back. This has been going on for at least a few days now.86.rpm

Hi there,
We're considering a new public Mirror in .ie as I can see from the mirror list there is only 1, HEAnet which had a hiccup last week. So it makes sense to have at least 1 other in Ireland.
Our mirror will be in Dublin.
A few questions if I may?
1) What's the total mirror size? Are there any growth graphs over the past 36 months or similar?
2) What amounts of bandwidth do mirrors normally consume?, 10,20,30-100mbit/s etc?
3) Are there scripts for managing the CentOS distribution other than a simple rsync cronjob?
4) How often should we update it?
5) Are there any gotchas we should be aware of?
Anything else we should be aware of? :)
Thanks,
Paul

Best Regards,
Good day,
FedoraMD.org - is a project to promote open source in Moldova. We
already have Fedora, EPEL,
and some 3rd party repositories mirrored.
Now we started mirroring CentOS.
Info:
Organization site: http://www.fedoramd.org/
FTP: ftp://ftp.fedoramd.org/centos/
HTTP: http://repo.fedoramd.org/centos/
versions :4,5,
platform: x86 , x86_64
city: Chişinău (Chisinau)
country: Moldova (country code: MD)
bandwidth: 3Mbps
country-wide bandwidth: 100Mbps
syncronized: 3 times a day
Server is located at ISP: Telemedia Group http://telemedia.md
contact e-mail: vchelban at fedoramd.org
Since we have greater bandwidth available for MD region (this is not
Maryland, but Moldova), we'd
like to be mostly country-wide mirror and be primary source for CentOS
in Moldova.

Chelban Vasile
