What's wrong with DVD isos and mirrors in general?

Hi, I've tried to download Centos 5.1 x86_64 DVD.iso from several mirrors but with no sucess... that file has only 141M. Could you recommend me some nice mirror? :) I've tried to install via netinstall but always there was some issue, missing packages, broken installation... Replacing my mirror server

I've just ordered a new server to replace centos.zanker.org (UK mirror) - this will have plenty of disk space allowing me to host a full mirror. I'm just wondering what's the best version of CentOS to install on it, bearing in mind that I might want to host the DVDs at some point. I'll need a version of apache that supports files greater than 2GB - will the CentOS 5.1 apache be OK for this? Should I install the 32-bit or 64-bit CentOS? I'd also be interested to know what people who host the DVDs are seeing bandwidth-wise - I have 3TB a month to play with... Thanks in advance, Mike

OT: weird problem downloading big files

I've stuck with a weird problem... I can't download "big" files, I mean, I can't download well DVD iso files, for example, if I try download any file of http://linux.cucea.udg.mx/geeklog/staticpages/index.php?page=20080123170324… I get something so: wget http://linux.cucea.udg.mx/espejo/Mandriva/2008.0/mandriva-linux-2008.0-free… --00:40:53-- http://linux.cucea.udg.mx/espejo/Mandriva/2008.0/mandriva-linux-2008.0-free… => `mandriva-linux-2008.0-free-dvd-i586.iso' Resolviendo linux.cucea.udg.mx... 148.202.23.6 Connecting to linux.cucea.udg.mx|148.202.23.6|:80... conectado. At first glance, I think that my wireless router was putting a limit, but then I connect directly to my ISP... I'm not behind a proxy (well, I don't if my ISP has one) but it's a recent problem, please could say me what's wrong? It cannot be coincidence that almost all stale mirrors are 10.8 days stale at: http://mirror-status.centos.org/ -- one has to suspect a bad upstream they are pointed at -- Russ herrold
