New CentOS mirror

Hi All, HEAnet are now mirroring CentOS. It is available via both IPv4 and IPv6 from: http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/centos/ ftp://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/centos/ rsync://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/centos/ The mirror is synced 4 times per day. It is hosted in Dublin, Ireland, with a 1 Gbps connection to our backbone (which is in turn connected to the rest of the net with many 2.5 Gbps circuits). There is no bandwidth cap in place, though in exceptional circumstances we reserve the right to shape traffic if it adversely affects our clients. Our best point of contact is mirrors(a)heanet.ie. You can see the general status (click on the bandwidth meter for detailed MRTG graphs) of our mirror at: http://ftp.heanet.ie/status/ and the results of the most recent CentOS rsync at: http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/heanet/log/centos/ HEAnet is Ireland National Research and Education network provider. CentOS 3 Mirror RPMs corrupted - Pacific.net.au

Hi, Recently tried to update some servers from 3.4 to 3.5 using http://mirror.pacific.net.au/linux/CentOS/3.5/ and a couple of the packages failed the GPG key checks, cups-1.1.17-13.3.27 for example: [root@lemonhead spork]# rpm -K cups-1.1.17-13.3.27.i386.rpm cups-1.1.17-13.3.27.i386.rpm: (sha1) dsa sha1 MD5 GPG NOT OK Not sure if they didn't copy across properly on the last sync but I just thought someone should know :o) Cheers, Nick

[Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found - Centos 3.3 removed?

Hello List I have a linux server with centos 3.3, and when run yum update the follow error appear # yum update Gathering header information file(s) from server(s) Server: CentOS-3.3 - Addons retrygrab() failed for: http://mirror.centos.org/centos-3/3.3/addons/i386/headers/header.info Executing failover method failover: out of servers to try Error getting file http://mirror.centos.org/centos-3/3.3/addons/i386/headers/header.info [Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found I search into others mirror and the centos 3.3 are removed.... i see into main page, centos 3.1 are removed but i not see any info for 3.3--- Need to upgrade to 3.5 for updates ? My apologies for being completely wrong. After I synced last night I noticed this behavior as my sync script is evidently incorrect, and didn't link 3.4 to 3.5. Since this was the case 3.4 appeared "empty," which is what I should have stated.
