Hello Levi,
Yes, I am aware of that. To setup this system it took about 24 hours from the time the last sync took place. It was more data-efficient to create a master image, deploy it to the multiple regions and then edit the region-specific settungs such as hostnames, etc. I have added the msync server details into my mirror scripts, so after Fabian adds the IPs into the ACLs, the system will update automagically without me having to edit the scripts on each server, one by one.

Awesome!
As a side note, the AU mirror seems to be out of date by over a day (just over 24h in AU)

Hi All,
I have established a global CentOS Mirror network, details of which are below. Fabian, when you can, could you please add these IPs to the ACLs. I don't know if you want to add each server individually, the global link or both, to the mirror lists. The mirror can be accessed by going to http://mirror.chrishawker.com.au<http://mirror.chrishawker.com.au/> which will redirect you to your nearest mirror, or you can override this by selecting one of the mirrors below.

Hi Fahim,
A tip you may want to consider: removing the server signature from Apache.
On CentOS, Fedora, RHEL or Arch Linux:
$ sudo vi /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
Add the following two lines at the end of the Apache config file:
ServerSignatures Off
ServerTokens Prod
Then restart the web server to activate the changes:
$ sudo systemctl restart httpd.service
The first line makes Apache hide the version info on any error pages, and the second removes the server token from the HTTP headers.

Hi, both IP addresses are included now in the rsync ACL.
So this should work for you in maximum 30 minutes.
Cheers,

Hi,
The IP address appears to belong to Shabdiz Telecom Network JSC, an ISP located an Iran.
Sources:
IP Whois: https://dig.whois.com.au/ip/5.160.200.196
BGP Looking Glass (of AS Number to which the IP belongs to): http://bgp.he.net/AS50530
Based on this, I don't believe this mirror would be accepted as an official CentOS Mirror.

Hi, when validating your mirror proposal, multiple GeoIP lookups
(including but not limited to Maxmind DB) lead to the fact that your
mirror seems to be located in Iran.
If that's not the case, can you have a look and contact Maxmind (and
others) to change that ?
