question about the mirror list

Hi! I just checked our mirror in the mirror list at http://www.centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=31 and found that it says DVD:no. A bit surprised I checked, and it seems we do carry the dvd image for the latest release(s) but not for (some of) the older ones. Is this the reason the the "no"? Best regards, Emil

Hi: We have changed our rsync servers (now from kernel.org)and we believe that our centos mirror is ok now. We still wish to be added to the centos mirror list.so please help check it again. Dear CentOS, I have planned to contribute a public mirror for centos . Regarding that i have tried rsync as per the document you have launched on your site. But it throws a error for me . In my server i have a rsync version 3.0.6 . 5.4 updates question

How often does the mirror network update and check for mirrors that are or are not carrying updates? We have all the 5.4 tree on our mirror site but updates via yum are going to another site now.... Just wondering if we need to wait another 24 hours before doing updates for our own system? rsync error with 5.4(sohu.china)

Mirror issue?

I may be crazy, But using the 5.4 i386 netinstall pointing at the /centos/5.4/os/i386 I get a error about the directory tree not maching boot media same with /centos/5/os/i386 Does this with my up to date mirror, my upstream (linux.mirrors.es.net) and mirrors.kernel.org
