Would it work to let them sync from a major EMEA mirror? I know some big hosts allow hourly rsyncs from their mirrors...

Hello
The only thing we need is "Redhat Wan't to active on Iran". Related to FAQ of JCPOA published by U.S. treasury,It's possible to get special license from U.S treasury to deal with Iran in Software.

The real impact of these laws is to terrify and intimidate US businesses while doing nothing to prevent an Iranian from taking a 1 hour flight to Europe and downloading a CD. Or, even, using $10/mo VPS proxy server to do the same.
Still, we don't want the NSA/FBI up our *#$%#$ any more than they already are.

Dear fellow mirror sponsors,
I guess most of the non-us mirrors are annoyed by the Captain America attityde seen in this thread.
Is it possible to help Iran in some alternative way? We could for example implement a geo-ip script that redirects or notifies Iran users about their local alternatives?
Have a nice weekend!
