Hi Dan,

When I created the mirror, I mirrored from the Australian Advanced Research Network, not from msync.centos.org, so I would be unsure if ::CentOS would work or not.

If you can’t sync the ::CentOS either from msync.centos.org, your IP probably hasn’t been added to the ACL yet.  Be patient – Fabian will get to it.

Subject: [CentOS-mirror] Error with mirroring CentOS AltArch

Hi All,

I have tried to Rsync mirror the AltArch direct from msync.centos.org::altarch and this is what I got:

*** BEGIN TERMINAL OUTPUT ***

mirroradmin@mirror:~$ rsync -avH --delete msync.centos.org::altarch /mirror/centos-altarch

msync.CentOS.org rsync service (centosx7)

---------------------------------------

This service is intended for the sole use of the CentOS worldwide mirror network

to synchronize mirrors.

Unless you are running or intending to run a listed public CentOS mirror

use a mirror listed at http://centos.org/download/mirrors

If you intend to populate a mirror for public use please read the

notes at http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreatePublicMirrors

If you do use this service then it is implied that you are providing a

mirror for public use and giving us authority to publicise such mirror.

@ERROR: Unknown module 'altarch'

rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1653) [Receiver=3.1.1]

*** END TERMINAL OUTPUT ***

Any ideas about the "Unknown module 'altarch'"?
