As well if you could update Virginia Tech CS Department on the mirrors page - we've been mirroring the DVD's for a couple of weeks now (off of centos' official server, we're already on the ACL), as well as running an rsync server serving Centos out.

Hi, I done the initial dvd-archive sync from rsync://mirror.chpc.utah.edu/pub/centos (I hope they don't mind me!) because the few dvd mirrors listed in Europe are wrong or too slow (from Italy) to sync with.
So, can I get listed to have DVD-isos and can I get my IP (217.220.32.45) allowed to sync directly from the master server (and, can you specify what is the correct master rsync URL?) because, I think, the utah.edu can be get angry with me!:))
Until them, I'll continue to sync with them (utah.edu: if you concern about that, let me know...).
Thank you,
Regards.

While waiting for the admins to confirm that they've added you to the acl's, you can pick the closest existing mirrors with DVD images to sync from: http://www.centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=13
Look for a Yes along the column specifying Direct DVD downloads, and look at the rsync url.
Beware when switching mirror sources subsequently as there's no standard naming convention for the rsync target with/without dvds. a target specifying centos-incdvd or CentOS-incdvd should include the dvds, but a target specifying centos may or may not have dvds.

Hi, can you add my ip also for mirroring the DVD isos?
My server ip is: 217.220.32.45 (ftp.dcl-arch.it)
Is that the exact rsync url to mirror the DVD isos?
msync-dvd.centos.org::CentOS-incdvd
Thank you!
