Thank you, but i have some questions...
I have crontab run this script:
#!/bin/sh
rsync="/usr/bin/rsync -aqHz --delete --delay-updates --bwlimit=256"
# this should be auto-selected, but the centos mirror script doesn't # support selection by a specific protocol (i.e., rsync) mirror=msync.centos.org::CentOS #mirror=centos.cs.wisc.edu::centos #mirror=mirrors.usc.edu::centos
ver=5 archlist="i386 x86_64" baselist="os updates" local=/var/www/html/centos
for arch in $archlist do for base in $baselist do remote=$mirror/$ver/$base/$arch/ $rsync $remote $local/$ver/$base/$arch/ done done
====
everything seems ok, but in http://mirror-status.centos.org/ i saw this:
mirror age,daily stats: 5.1 days
There is any problem with it ? Is it ok or not, and i saw two files: TIME and timestamp.txt
How can we create it, my folder is /var/www/html/centos/ currently, i have to run this:
$rsync msync.centos.org::CentOS/timestamp.txt /var/www/html/centos/ $rsync msync.centos.org::CentOS/TIME /var/www/html/centos/
to update it. Is there any other way ?
Thank you !
