i am the sys admin of the centos mirror at ftp.iitm.ac.in; i sync from us-msync.centos.org. in the last 2-3 weeks, i seem to be having a problem with the 5.1 directory - it keeps flip flopping between empty (but for the readme file) and fully populated (os, extras, updates etc etc) - downloading and deleting a couple of gb every time. i randomly checked a few mirros and this seems to be widespread. what gives?

5.1 should now be empty with just a readme file explaining the situation. Its possible one of the servers behind us-msync isnt updated as yet, I can check that.

please do check. my last sync log shows centosn and it has a fully populated 5.1 tree.
I am having the same problem, it appears that when ever it hits the server centosq from us-msync.centos.org it re downloads the 5.1 tree. I hit another server and it deletes it.

FYI: I just hit server "centosn" and it also repopulated the 5.1 tree.

Ok, in about 20 minutes all should be good on all centos servers.
If you have any issues after 30 minutes from now on CentOS servers, let me know
