Thanks !
Your mirror http://repos.lax.layerhost.com/centos/ has been added to the mirrors DB It will be listed as a public mirror (and on https://mirror-status.centos.org / https://www.centos.org/download/mirrors/ ) in the following minutes/hours. Your IP address[es] (23.228.76.78 ) has/have been added in the ACL and so you should be able to rsync from msync.centos.org in the next ~10min
Welcome to the 8.1.1911 release party ! :-p
PS : can you update your sync schedule to something like every 4h (our faster) : just to ensure that your mirror woudn't be invalidated and so removed from lists, then added back, depending on your sync schedule
Kind Regards,
Dear Fabian,
Thanks for the reply.
Our rsync source IP is 192.200.215.91 and our mirror's public IP is 23.228.76.78. May you whitelist the 192.200.215.91 instead of 23.228.76.78. We will also change our schedule to be every 4 hours once it's whitelisted.
Thanks again

Cheers,
Dear Fabian,
Is this a new rule mirrors have to apply now?
PS : can you update your sync schedule to something like every 4h (our faster) : just to ensure that your mirror woudn't be invalidated and so removed from lists
Because in this official article https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreatePublicMirrors ( Last updated at 2019-12-09 09:11:20 )
Public mirrors should synchronize 2-4 times per day
So it"s every 4 hours or faster, or 2-4 times/day now, because it is a big difference and i don't want to be removed from the lists accidentally.
Cheers,
Peter

It's not a new rule, but just a suggestion to catch updates earlier :-) Also, rsync should be fast anyway if there is nothing to pull so better to check often than only twice a day ?
