I can resolve it from Chicago/USA:
# host mirrors.njupt.edu.cn mirrors.njupt.edu.cn has address 180.209.98.28
and I can connect to port 80 on that host.

Agreed, it's now working correctly for me.
I was seeing that the authoritative name servers were replying with NXDOMAIN, but they're not responding as expected, and i can reach the mirror.
Maybe a temporary glitch during the minute i tested. ;-)
