I just have added a centos mirror on our ftp server : ftp://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/ftp.centos.org/ (ftp only)
it is updated 4 times a day, the location is Paris (France) and its connexion is up to 2 Gbps.

My mirror has been added to mirror list in the right country (fr) but when I ask for an ISO with : http://isoredirect.centos.org/centos/4/isos/i386/ I only have Crazyfrogs & Ircam mirrors in the "actual country".
In the mirror list, somes servers have DVD ISOs but I could not find any information on how to get these ISOs (specific rsync server ?)

Because our script that checks currency of iso images doesnt know how to look at ftp mirrors (yet) ...

I suspect that informaton is back in the mailing list archive - will try to find and add it to the wiki ...
