I got this answer for tech dept.
"The same server is running 20 other things to mirror. Since its still active and uses normal amounts of data we didn't expect any problems. So this was flying under the radar."
I'm sure it will be back online today.
Just for the record, I'm from sales not techsupport I do not monitor this server.

120 days is quite a lot downtime without being noticed, make sure that you monitor the server next time. A mirror is not just a service but also presents the quality of your services.
Good luck and have a nice day.

In an ideal world, we should be able to send email notifications to mirror admins for mirrors that are lagging for more than a few days. Not sure how that is possible with the existing setup ( I am sure there is a way, not sure if its worth effort at this point ).
Maybe a short term goal might be to just post a list of outdated mirrors here to this list, once a day

I volunteerd a while ago by Ralph to make a weekly list and contact all those sysadmins. But I don't think we discussed this futher.
