I had been successfully rsyncing mirror.vcu.edu with msync-dvd.centos.org::CentOS-incdvd but a few days ago that stopped and I see references to be included to on acl for that server.
I would like to do that, or I'll accept a recommended alternative.
Could always sync off of kernel.org in the mean time rsync://mirrors[12].kernel.org/centos
choose mirrors1 or mirrors2, they are both here in the US.

Hmmm. I did some reconfiguration on the rsync things a few days ago, maybe your existing ACL got dropped?
Do you have the ip address handy which should be in that ACL list?
Ralph
FYI Here is the error I'm getting
$ rsync msync-dvd.centos.org::CentOS-incdvd
msync.CentOS.org rsync service (centosk2) ---------------------------------------
This service is intended for the sole use of the CentOS worldwide mirror network to synchronize mirrors.
Unless you are running or intending to run a listed public CentOS mirror use a mirror listed at http://www.CentOS.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=13
If you intend to populate a mirror for public use please read the notes at :- http://www.CentOS.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=15
If you do use this service then it is implied that you are providing a mirror for public use and giving us authority to publicise such mirror.

Okay, now I see ...
You being able to sync from there was a configuration error anyway, rsync does some funky things if you have have "hosts allow" and "hosts deny" sections in the same config file.
We are adding some machines to the dvd mirrors at the moment and have to review internally how far to open that up. Can you please sync from kernel.org during the meantime as was offered to you?
Thanks,
Ralph
