Hi, thank you for your mirror submission. I'm afraid the available bandwidth is a bit of a problem here. Most people would expect new European mirrors to have at least 100Mbit/s of outbound bandwidth.
If you are unable to increase your outbound bandwidth, you can still help by seeding CentOS torrents. Lower speeds are acceptable for that purpose.
Hello everybody I have extended the SPEED to 100Mbit and synchronization should be completed in 1-2 hours

Hi,
I confirm that bandwidth is now available, but a GeoIP lookup shows that mirror.w2k.ch in France and not Switzerland (in the OVH network). Can you confirm that ? if so I'll add your mirror, but as located in France and not Switzerland (for the geoip redirection used for the yum mirrorlists)
Cheers,

Hello, yes it's true that there is the IP from the OVH network. Too bad that you can not rely on the location Switzerland. But who does not go differently then set the location in France ...
regards Michael

Well, location is where the mirror is located, not the sponsor ;-) (and we have multiple examples of sponsors being located in one country, but having the mirror in another one, and sometimes different continent too)
Your mirror has been added to the mirrors DB and will normally be listed as a public mirror (and on http://mirror-status.centos.org / http://centos.org/download/mirrors/ ) in the following minutes/hours. Your IP has been whitelisted (check that it's working in the following hour)
Kind Regards,
