Hi Dan,
Thanks for your mirrors proposal : 4 mirrors to add in one shot is a good thing :-) But I verified your mirrors and they are either not up2date nor complete. Can you investigate, fix the issue and keep us informed ? I'll then add those mirrors in the mirrors list.
Cheers,
Hi Fabian,
I have some data from our server guy:
Here is a full log from usa server, it does look up to date. [root@mirrors-usa ox3]# rsync -arztHv --delete rsync://mirror.bytemark.co.uk/centos/ /home/www/centos/
-========== B Y T E M A R K H O S T I N G M I R R O R ==========-
receiving incremental file list TIME dir_sizes filelist.gz timestamp.txt 7.0.1406/updates/x86_64/repodata/
sent 2960 bytes received 2012773 bytes 212182.42 bytes/sec total size is 123749350759 speedup is 61391.74
So hopefully everything is good now, let me know if something isn't right!

Ok, I've added your four mirrors, even if the one from Australia seems 4 days behind. You haven't mentioned the IP to authorize to permit you from using msync.centos.org as source. Can I just assume that a DNS A lookup is ok ? Also, just to confirm, from a geoip lookup, it seems the one in Michigan is instead in Florida. Can you confirm ?
Cheers,
I noticed our Sponsor links to Go-Parts say
http://www.centos.org/download/mirrors/http;//www.go-parts.com
instead of http://www.go-parts.com
If you could fix that it would be greatly appreciated!
Also, A DNS lookup should be ok.
I double checked the IP as well and it says it is in Florida, but when I asked our people, I was told it was indeed in Michigan. Maybe it moved somehow? If this isn't possible I will ask again.
Thanks, Dan Derebenskiy, Go-Parts

Cheers,
It seems we used a faulty lookup system to find out where our USA mirror is, so it should be in Florida. Sorry for the confusion.

Done, and I realized that I just did a copy/paste from the Sponsor URL line from your first email :-)
Also, A DNS lookup should be ok.
Ok, four IP addresses added in the ACL, so can you confirm that it works ? (will be implemented on all msync nodes in the next 30 minutes).
I double checked the IP as well and it says it is in Florida, but when I asked our people, I was told it was indeed in Michigan. Maybe it moved somehow? If this isn't possible I will ask again.
No problem, I entered it as being in FL so nothing to change :-)
Thanks, Dan Derebenskiy, Go-Parts
PS : can you verify your mirror in Perth/Australia as it's already marked as outdated .
Cheers,
Perth mirror should be up to date now!
And RU,UK,USA,AUS mirrors all look good to go!
Thanks, Dan Derebenskiy, Go-Parts
