we've noticed that centosu9.centos.org (which is one of the msync.centos.org servers) is outdated:

$ rsync rsync://centosu9.centos.org/CentOS/7/updates/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml CentOS.org rsync service (centosu9.centos.org) [...] -rw-rw-r-- 3,019 2023/06/29 16:54:25 repomd.xml
