Hello,
we can probably supply another centos mirror, with gbit outgoing connection. located in germany.
how much traffic do we have to expect? and how much diskspace is needed for a full mirror (source, iso & rpm)
and, is it possible to place a banner of our company @ http://centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=15 for providing mirror service?
Cheers
Juergen

On my mirror in Germany traffic is around 120GB per day:

And diskspace (at the moment!) is 136G with DVDs. This can be a bit more during new releases (4.8 will be the next), as then the new release and the one before that are kept on the mirrors for some time.

OK thats all fine so far :)
if someone from centos can reply to my question about a sponsoring banner for mirror services @ http://www.centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=15
thanks :)

Thanks. It is available at:
git clone http://ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/info/git/info/
and
git clone http://ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/info/git/bin/
but be warned, this is very specific for my needs but maybe you can find some parts which you can reuse.
