Thanks : it has been added to the mirrors DB and will normally be listed as a public mirror (and on http://mirror-status.centos.org / http://centos.org/download/mirrors/ ) in the following minutes/hours but on the other hand, I see that your mirror is already several weeks behind, so will be removed from yum mirrorlists. That is international and domestic is 1gbps which is totally the point of mirrors anyway, to use the mirror closest to you.

I just checked and WHOIS says the address I got is in Thailand:

C:\Users\moshe> nslookup mirror.thaidns.co.th Non-authoritative answer: Name: mirror.thaidns.co.th Address: 183.90.170.118

That check is from a Windows machine I happen to be working on at the moment, but I get the same result from every location I tested, including testing against all the major public DNS providers (Google, OpenDNS, Cloudflare).
