Fabian from CentOS mentioned in another thread last week he was going to be out all this week. I don't know if anyone else is taking over mirror management responsibilities during his PTO but you may not hear back on this until next week.

That's correct : on PTO, but still connecting from time to time between various activities to follow status, etc .. :-)

Hi,
I've just checked your mirror but it's not reachable, so can you verify on your side and keep us posted please ?

Hello Fabian,
Sorry about it (missed firewall part). Should be good now.
Thank you, Asya

Hello Fabian,
I apologize for the confusion.
Previously I only had rsync port open and was under an impression that this is how you'll be trying to connect.
I just opened web as well.
Please try http://reflect.cs.princeton.edu/centos and/or rsync://reflect.cs.princeton.edu/centos again.
Thank you, Asya

rsync seems to be fine, but http://reflect.cs.princeton.edu/centos/6/ gives me a 403, and the root directory http://reflect.cs.princeton.edu/centos/ seems to lack some files that are in http://mirror.centos.org/centos/
Thank you.
Seems like our lighttpd installation is buggy.
I will do my best to check everything before emailing you guys again.
Sorry...
Thank you, Asya

Ok, i'm afraid to ask again...
Should be good now. Maybe it'll help someone, but selinux was a culprit.
Thank you, Asya

So, your mirror has been added to the mirrors DB, and will normally be listed as a public mirror (and on http://mirror-status.centos.org / http://centos.org/download/mirrors/ ) in the following hours. Your IP has been whitelisted (check that it's working in the following hour)
One (little) remark though : saying that "selinux was the culprit" is always easy but not true, but I guess you meant "a misconfiguration on our side" .. ;-)

Hello Fabian,
You are correct :) Unfortunately, I tend to forget about selinux from time to time. It was my fault.
Thank you for all your help and patience, Asya
