Do we have you listed as a mirror? The mirrorlist is composed of 20 random entries of all mirrors in a region.

As we have a relatively large number of mirrors in the US (and the geoip database that we use does not give us a finer granularity than "US"), not every mirror will be listed in mirrorlist, all the time.
