Your mirror http://mirror.jit.ac.in/centos/ has been added to the mirrors DB It will be listed as a public mirror (and on https://mirror-status.centos.org / https://www.centos.org/download/mirrors/ ) in the following minutes/hours. Your IP address[es] (182.72.203.229 ) has/have been added in the ACL and so you should be able to rsync from msync.centos.org in the next ~10min
Kind Regards,
When we tried to sync from msync.centos.org::CentOS, we receive the following error.
rsync -aqzH --delete msync.centos.org::CentOS /mirror_repository/centos/
@ERROR: Unknown module 'CentOS' rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1666) [Receiver=3.1.2]
What might be the issue? , is that any thing missed out?
Thanks

Hi,
That means that the IPv4 you gave when you sent your mirror proposal (so 182.72.203.229) doesn't seem to be the one used by your server when doing rsync. Do you use NAT in front/firewall with so different outgoing IP address ? Or that you have IPv6 and you haven't asked for it to be added in the ACL ?
