Hi, there seems to be some problems with https and rsync:
$ curl -v https://mirror.launtel.net.au/centos/timestamp.txt * About to connect() to mirror.launtel.net.au port 443 (#0) * Trying 45.248.48.22... * Connected to mirror.launtel.net.au (45.248.48.22) port 443 (#0) * Initializing NSS with certpath: sql:/etc/pki/nssdb * CAfile: /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt CApath: none * Server certificate: * subject: CN=*.launtel.net.au,OU=Domain Control Validated * start date: Mar 28 22:28:00 2017 GMT * expire date: Jul 13 05:56:38 2019 GMT * common name: *.launtel.net.au * issuer: CN=Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority - G2,OU=http://certs.godaddy.com/repository/,O=%22GoDaddy.com, Inc.",L=Scottsdale,ST=Arizona,C=US * NSS error -8179 (SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER) * Peer's Certificate issuer is not recognized. * Closing connection 0 curl: (60) Peer's Certificate issuer is not recognized.
$ rsync rsync://mirror.launtel.net.au/centos/ rsync: failed to connect to mirror.launtel.net.au (2404:e80:0:201:74cd:2dff:fecc:1cb0): Connection timed out (110) rsync: failed to connect to mirror.launtel.net.au (45.248.48.22): Connection timed out (110) rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(125) [Receiver=3.1.2]
I have added the http URL, and will add https and rsync once I receive a notification that they're working. You should now be able to rsync directly from rsync://msync.centos.org/CentOS/
Hi.
I have repaired the broken SSL cert so HTTPS should be fine and RSYNC is now working too from external hosts. Please confirm from your end.
THanks
