Good afternoon all,
I've been considering setting up a public mirror to help support CentOS as we use it for all our servers.
I do however, have a question that I can not seem to find an answer to... how much storage space will the system need?
Best Regards,

The full mirror I maintain is around 127 GB, it'd probably be wise to have 50+ GB more than that.
Ok, thanks... I know this is going to sound green of me, but I am also reading the other posts on this site, and some of the scripts people are posting seem a bit more complex than I had thought this would be.
People keep talking about a CentOS mirror "how to" guide that I can't seem to find... can some one point me to this guide please?
Best Regards,
James

Two clicks away on the CentOS home page:
http://www.centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=22
BTW, my mirror is 163Gbytes (hardlinked files counted once).

That's the size when you also carry the dvd isos. And at the moment 5.1 and 5.2 are on the mirror, it'll shrink about 36G once 5.1 gets removed (just to give you a feeling with which sizes you have to deal).
Cheers,
