I've had a number of rsyncs time out over the past couple of days and each time it has been when I'm syncing with CentOS B2. It hangs at the "receiving file list ..." stage. I've got a very generous timeout of 3600 seconds, too. I'm not seeing any problems with any other msync.centos.org servers.
Anybody else seeing this?
Thanks,
Mike

I didn't have any issue right now (Wed Apr 2 22:29:33 CEST 2008).
What is the IP address your are syncing from?
Cheers,
Tru

Not sure, because it appears to have been OK since last night. I think it might have just been a temporary thing - maybe packet loss along the route somewhere.
Cheers,
Mike

This is still happening, still only with CentOS B2. Rsync is currently hung on a connection to 84.22.180.89.
Cheers,
Mike

Every time I think I have solved this, it dies again ... I have taken it out of msync and added in a different server.
Will troubleshoot this some more.
