Hi Marcel,
Some GeoIP lookups seem to think that this IP 85.25.128.62 (A record for mirror.plusserver.com) is in fact in Germany, in the asn AS8972. (same thing for the other IP you asked to be authorized, also in the same asn AS8972) Can you confirm that the server is located in France ? If so , that would be good to reflect that "upstream" so that all GeoIP lookups would be correct.
Let me know so that I can add it correctly (overriding what GeoIP thinks) .

Hi Fabian, Hi Anssi,
the IP subnets are registered with the address of headquarter of our company. But our datacenter is located in France / Strasbourg. 85.25.128.62 is not the source ip for sync. It's only the public ip for client access. We will use 188.138.80.214 for connections to upstream mirrors.
There are no IP restrictions for normal distribution repositories. Your checkcentosmirror_v4.pl didn't show any useful error information. Could you please try a failed url with curl/wget and give us the http status code?
Regards, Marcel

I did not get an HTTP error code at all:
$ curl http://mirror.plusserver.com/centos/TIME curl: (7) Failed connect to mirror.plusserver.com:80; Connection refused
When I tried it a little bit later, I got what I expected: $ curl http://mirror.plusserver.com/centos/TIME 1442922481
This probably means that you won't see any errors in your web server logs. If you want to grep your firewall logs for my IP address, it's 80.69.163.42.
Hi,
it's fixed. It affected only clients outside our networks
Thank you, Marcel

I'm having slight problems with this mirror. I get the impression that there is something that is limiting the rate of HTTP connections:

On subsequent tries the files that fail to download are different. Perhaps there's some firewall trying to limit the access? Please note that when CentOS systems download updates from your mirror, those systems may end up getting such download errors as well.

Thanks : it has been added to the mirrors DB and will normally be listed as a public mirror (and on http://mirror-status.centos.org / http://centos.org/download/mirrors/ ) in the following minutes/hours. Your IP has been whitelisted (check that it's working in the following hour)
