I already have done it once for the pcduino3 nano (armv7 too), and it 
seems for example for bananapi it looks like the same. Steps are here, 
but it seems to be based on the sunxi kernel (3.x, not 4.x).
Maybe I can try it, but I don't know how to use 4.2 kernel.

<off topic> I should have tested the pcduino3 nano, to validate centos 7 
arm, but it is used in prod, and very far away :p </off topic>
